Is there a free trial?
Yes. AL n Me is free for 90 days from your first launch. No credit card required. After 90 days, a subscription is required for Tasks, Events, and Travel. Shopping is always free.
Do I need an account?
No. AL n Me works entirely without an account. Your data stays on your device.
Where is my data stored?
Everything is stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to our servers — we don't have any.
How do I back up my data?
Go to Settings → Backup → Save to iCloud. Your backup is saved to your personal iCloud account. You can also export to Files for a local backup.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Create a backup on your old device (Settings → Backup), then restore it on your new device after installing AL n Me.
Can I share lists with someone else?
Yes. Open any list, tap the export button, and send the encrypted file through any messaging app (Messages, WhatsApp, email, etc.). The recipient imports it directly into their AL n Me. No shared account needed.
What does the subscription include?
A single subscription unlocks Tasks, Events, and Travel features. Shopping is always free, with or without a subscription.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iOS Settings app → Apple ID → Subscriptions → AL n Me → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Why does the app need Location access?
To show nearby shops on the map and send you a notification when you arrive at a shop that has items on your list. Location is used on-device only — it is never sent to us.
Why does the app need Microphone / Speech Recognition?
For the voice assistant feature. Voice is processed on your device by Apple's speech engine. Audio is never recorded or stored.
Can I use the app without giving any permissions?
Yes. All permissions are optional. You can deny everything and still use the full app — you simply won't have map, voice, or geofence notification features.
The app is not responding or crashing
1. Force-close the app and reopen it.
2. Restart your device.
3. If the issue persists, email us at support@smartinnovationforyou.com with your iOS version and device model.
I lost my data
If you have a backup, go to Settings → Backup → Restore and select your most recent backup file.
